The hosts will no doubt be hoping that they can improve upon the goalless draw that took place at an icy New Den between Christmas and New Year, as continued slips by Sheffield United and Leeds United in recent weeks mean Watford are now fully immersed in the race for automatic promotion. Indeed, victory over the Lions could catapult the Golden boys into second spot, should they win and the Blades lose at home to Southampton.
Visiting Millwall remain marooned in the last relegation berth, five points behind Sheffield Wednesday with just seven matches left to play.
However, following a disasterous start to the campaign the Lions have become increasingly difficult to beat since Dave Tuttle took charge at the New Den just prior to Christmas, although an inability to find the net regularly, especially at home, has hampered his team's chances of escaping the drop.
Ben May (pictured) is the Lions' leading goalscorer but has managed just 8 goals to date, whilst Barry Hayles who returned to first team action for the first time in five months following a knee complaint during last weekend's home defeat to Leicester City is second with five.

Recent respective form guides
Watford has lost just once in their last six home games, this in the FA Cup to Bolton Wanderers back in January winning four and drawing the other one. Aidy Boothroyd's men have netted 13 goals in these games and conceded just seven.
In complete contrast, Millwall are having a torrid time on their travels, managing a paltry two draws from the last six matches. The Lions have conceded 8 goals in these games, and only hit 3 in reply.
Watford are just outside the promotion places, in 3rd place, having taken 72 points from their 39 games, while Millwall are stuck down in the relegation zone with a return of just 33 points from their 39 games thus far.
