"You cannot accuse us of not going for it and but for a fantastic late clearance off the line we would have taken all three points," he said after the match.
"The weather spoiled it today. It was like a hurricane out there, and there was a swirling wind throughout which made if difficult for both sides.
"I think it's definitely a point gained although we are disappointed not to win especially as we were left playing against 10 men with a number of minutes remaining.
"I was disappointed about the goal we conceded, we thought there was a hint of offside about it, although we haven't seen it again. With the pace at the back we have we should not have been caught out like that."
