"We haven't even had Bonfire Night yet," he told the club's official website.
"I didn't think we were at our best, not by a long way, but it's nice to keep winning even when you don't play at your best and I'm delighted that we got the result for the away support.
"We won't be getting carried away as I think there's a great danger that we can pose to ourselves if we think it's all over now.
"We're always one game away from another 4-1 thrashing like we got against Leicester and I still maintain that was the best result we've got all season, because it made us kick on and drove us to an as yet unbeaten run."
