Boothroyd: Bolton Deserved To Win

"Bolton started the faster and that's why they were 2-0 up and really half-time came too soon for us, we had just got our momentum going," the Watford boss said after the 3-0 defeat at Vicarage Road.

"Bolton deserved the result, they were the better team on the day and in our best periods of the game we didn't score goals when we were in charge.

"In the first 20 minutes of the second half and the last 20 minutes of the first we were the team that was possibly going to score, but you have got to take your chances."
