Boothroyd Pleased With Response

The Hornets looked to be heading for a second successive defeat after an inept first half showing saw them 3-1 down at the break but they responded to the managers half time talk and hit back to earn a point at Home Park.

"We turned up and we thought we'd just get a bit of Devon sunshine but it doesn't happen like that," Boothroyd said after the 3-3 draw.

"I have never seen or been involved in, or watched a game where there is such a change in attitude to wanting to win.

"What was said at half-time remains private but the players responded to what I said in a very professional fashion and I am delighted."
