"Saying that, our first three away games were against Leicester, Portsmouth and Norwich - the top teams in the division.
"So it was the performances and not necessarily the results that annoyed me about those games.
"But they showed tonight that they are a really good bunch and can roll their sleeves up if they need to.
"We just needed to get our performances right and the results will follow."
