Watford Football Club has today confirmed that versatile defender, James Chambers has returned to Vicarage Road after a month on loan at Coca-Cola Championship pacesetters, Cardiff City.
The Sandwell born Chambers made seven starts for the Welsh outfit during his spell in South Wales and it is thought Bluebirds manager, Dave Jones was keen on keeping the 25-year-old at Ninian Park for a further two months.
However, Watford manager, Aidy Boothroyd was eager to see the return of the fully match fit fullback for the busy lead in to Christmas, and will be hoping the player can force his way back into first-team contention.
