Early goals knock stuffing out of Hornets

With fans' Bovril still warm Chelsea had raced into a two goal lead and it was game over.

By half time it was 3 - 0 and two more in the second half capped a 5 - 0 victory as the home side cruised through to a 4th round tie away at Preston.

The goals came from Sturridge (2), Eustance (o.g.), Maluda and Lampard.

For Watford the focus for the rest of the season is on the Championship with Sheffield Utd coming to Vicarage Rd this weekend. The Hornet's are just 5 points off the play off places at this midway point of the season. It's all to play for.
