Every Premier League team's player of the weekend: Gameweek 34

We've enjoyed another weekend of Premier League football sprinkled with the stardust of some of the country's finest players.

We may have had two blowout goalless draws but there was plenty of entertainment at the Emirates where Arsenal bested Manchester United to take pole position in the top four race. Manchester City and Liverpool, meanwhile, went stride for stride at the top of the table with victories over Watford and Everton respectively.

Down at the bottom are Frank Lampard's Toffees, who slipped into the bottom three alongside Watford and Norwich due to Burnley's win over Wolves.

Here's each Premier League side's top performer this week, as per 90mins's player ratings.

Arsenal - Bukayo Saka (8/10) vs Manchester United

What we said: "Played a crucial role in both goals and had Telles on skates."

Aston Villa - Emiliano Buendia (6/10) vs Leicester

What we said: "Flirted with a worldie to save this game but it wasn't to be. Villa's best player of the game."

Brentford - Pontus Jansson (9/10) vs Tottenham

What we said: "Dominant at both ends, unlucky not to have scored."

Brighton - Danny Welbeck (8/10) vs Southampton

What we said: "In the right place at the right time to score the opener. Terrific hold-up play before Salisu stuck it into his own net. Ran all day and unlucky not to have scored another."

Burnley - Nick Pope (7/10) vs Wolves

What we said: "Made a really good save from Semedo in the second half. Generally very solid."

Chelsea - Christian Pulisic (7/10) vs West Ham

What we said: "Popped up when it mattered most and had the composure to win the game."

Crystal Palace - Wilfried Zaha (7/10) vs Leeds

What we said: "The Whites could not live with him, resorting to fouls to dim his influence. That did not always work, though. All that was missing was a goal or assist."

Everton - Anthony Garden (7/10) vs Liverpool

What we said: "Had the better of Alexander-Arnold but sullied a strong start by getting booked for diving. Remained threatening on the counter."

Leeds - Liam Cooper (7/10) vs Crystal Palace

What we said: "Did not make the most of a rare Leeds chance from a corner. Defended pretty well, even if Mateta slipped free more than once."

Leicester - Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (7/10) vs Aston Villa

What we said: "Continues to be Leicester's best player. Created the best chance of the first half with some nice dribbling."

Liverpool - Andy Robertson (8/10) vs Everton

What we said: "Always ensured his team did not drop the intensity and got his reward with the goal."

Manchester City - Gabriel Jesus (10/10) vs Watford

What we said: "Two goals and assist in the first 35 minutes on his return to the starting XI. Completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot after drawing the foul himself."

Manchester United - Cristiano Ronaldo (7/10) vs Arsenal

What we said: "Dropped deep to link play well and was a menace in the penalty area."

Newcastle - Joelinton (8/10) vs Norwich

What we said: "On his 100th Premier League appearance, Joelinton was shifted into a more advanced role but continued to bound around the pitch with the same enthusiasm on top of the added bonus of goals."

Norwich - Max Aarons (6/10) vs Newcastle

What we said: "Offered an option on the overlap but it was all too little too late by the time Aarons trotted into a 3-0 deficit."

Southampton - James Ward-Prowse (9/10) vs Brighton

What we said: "Given a tough examination by Mwepu and Caicedo in the first half. Good free kick caught out Sanchez to give Southampton a foothold in the game and his second was even better. A dreamy striker of the ball and rescued his side here."

Tottenham - Cristian Romero (7/10) vs Brentford

What we said: "Was very aggressive and kept Toney pinned down."

Watford - Emmanuel Dennis (7/10) vs Manchester City

What we said: "Offered a clear threat for Watford on an otherwise difficult afternoon. Worked hard and assisted Kamara's goal."

West Ham - Lukasz Fabianski (8/10) vs Chelsea

What we said: "Ended up being quite busy in the second half and made save after save. The penalty stop was one of the easier ones, yet he stood no chance with the actual goal."

Wolves - Jonny (7/10) vs Burnley

What we said: "Found a lot of space down the left-hand side and often made the most of it. Some excellent defensive covering too."
