Watford's on-loan Manchester United goalkeeper, Ben Foster has been selected in Steve McClaren's latest squad, to face Spain in a friendly international at Old Trafford next Wednesday, 7 February 2007.

The 23-year-old has been in superlative form for the Golden Boys this season, and is starting to pressurise present incumbent, Paul Robinson for a place between the sticks.

Elsewhere, Manchester City's Joey Barton receives his first call up, whilst there are recalls for Aston Villa's Gareth Barry, Newcastle United's Kieron Dyer and Middlesbrough's Jonathan Woodgate.

Owen Hargreaves is also selected for the first time since breaking his leg last September.
