Foster Receives England Call-Up

Watford's on loan goalkeeper, Ben Foster has capped a memorable couple of days by being named in Steve McClaren's first-ever England squad.

The Manchester United stopper, who only re-signed for Watford on Thursday, was named in a 22 man squad that entertain European Champions, Greece in a friendly at Old Trafford next Wednesday, 16 August.

Foster, who had been in Sven Goran Erikkson's provisional World Cup squad for Germany is selected along with Paul Robinson and Chris Kirkland, and would now appear to have leap-frogged David James and Scott Carson in the International pecking order.
