Foster Wins First Cap

Watford's on loan Manchester United goalkeeper, Ben Foster will make his international debut in a friendly against Spain at Old Trafford tomorrow (Wednesday).

The 23-year-old Foster has been in superlative form all season for the relegation threatened Golden Boys and replaces Tottenham Hotspur's Paul Robinson, while there are recalls for Middlesbrough's Jonathan Woodgate for the first time in four years, and Newcastle United's Kieron Dyer.

Dyer is expected to play just behind Peter Crouch who will play as a lone striker after Wayne Rooney was deeemd not fit enough to start.

Steven Gerrard captains the side in the absence of John Terry.
