The Golden Boys are delighted to announce that they are wholeheartedly supporting the efforts of independent fanzine/information service "Blind, Stupid and Desperate", who are once again asking for messages of encouragement for the team ahead of the end of season play-offs.
You may recall that members of the Watford Internet Mailing List were given a similar opportunity seven years ago when Watford reached the 1999 Play-off Final against Bolton Wanderers at Wembley, and their sterling efforts saw over 1, 000 Good Luck messages displayed on a six metre long, full colour banner.
The team on that occasion received a copy of the banner a week prior to the final, whilst fans also took part in a photo shoot on the day itself with a replica on the steps of Wembley Stadium.
As there is a little bit more time to arrange everything this year, it is hoped that the banner will be even bigger and better than on the last occasion, so in conjunction with "Blind, Stupid and Desperate", and the official site, WatfordFC we are urging all Golden Boys fans to support this excellent venture.
Just click here , or on 'The Play-off Banner' scrolling headline at the top of the site to register your message.
The only stipulations are that messages are a maximum of 20 words, contain no swearing and are pro Watford, rather than offensive or detrimental to any other side.
The deadline for submissions will be five days before the first leg of the playoffs.
So what are you waiting for!
