The 28-year old today was at vicarage road to sign a 2 year deal with the club after passing the medical. Offically he will become a goldenboy when they return for training on the 1st of July.
Brynjar told The Watford Observer
"It is a new chance for me and I am looking forward to it and hopefully we can do well this season. I have not met any of the players yet but I am quite excited," said Gunnarsson.
"Of course, I do know Heidar. We have been together in the international team for the past four or five years. I met him In Iceland and he speaks highly about Watford. He has had a good time there and that obviously helps make up your mind. I am looking forward to playing with him,"
