The Hornets top scorer has been linked with numerous Championship sides since the season finished a fortnight ago but contrary to recent press speculation in England, the Icelandic press are claiming that the striker says he has not rejected a new contract at Vicarage Road because no solid terms have actually been offered yet.
Full discussions, they claim, will take place when he returns from holiday in Dubai.
Heidar has spoken out against the rumours and said he does not know of any interest from other clubs, labelling it as ''paper talk''.
He has just bought a new house in the area and he and his family are very
settled. He will sign a new contract at Watford very soon and will not
leave this summer unless the club receive and accept a bid of at least
£1.5m from a Premiership club.
He says he will ''not even think of another club'' unless Watford accept an offer.
