Inter Milan Head Pre-Season Schedule

Watford has been busily confirming their pre-season schedule ahead of their return to the Premiership, the highlight of which is a prestigious friendly against Italian Serie A aristocrats, Inter Milan.

The fixture is due to take place on Tuesday 8 August 2006, subject to International Clearance, and the Italians are expected to include a number of players currently on World Cup duty in Germany.

Aidy Boothroyd's men return to pre-season training on Monday 3 July 2006, and play their first competitive match of the new campaign against Southern League Premier Division neighbours, Northwood on Tuesday 25 July 2006.

An outing to Coca-Cola League Division Two, Wycombe Wanderers follows 24 hours later and the programme also includes a week in Denmark with a fixture versus AC Horsens.

The Reserves meanwhile have a date with Nationwide Conference National side, Hayes on Tuesday 8 August 2006, before visiting Southern League Division One South & West club, Chesham United a week later. Both matches Kick-off at 7.45pm.
