Keeper Loach wants Watford push

"We've been creating our own errors and been our own worst enemy," 22-year-old Loach told BBC Three Counties Radio.

"But if luck can stay on our side up until Christmas and we get those points on the board, in the long run it makes it a little bit easier for us."

The goalless draw with the Tykes provided Watford with their first clean sheet since the beginning of October, when Malky Mackay's side were 1-0 victors at Sheffield United.

Loach appeared to be our best player, which is good for him because he has been getting flak recently from fellow supporters

"A clean sheet for me is like a hat-trick, depending on how much I've got to do," added Loach, who claimed his fourth shut-out of the season.

"Seeing a zero on our scoresheet keeps me delighted all week and keeps me buzzing.

"Credit to the lads - upfront Danny Graham, Troy [Deeney] and Marvin [Sordell] battled hard all the way to the defence."

Watford, who now sit 14th in the table, are next in action against Leicester at Vicarage Road on Saturday.
