Leeds United v Watford

Watford are almost at full strength as they prepare to face Leeds United on Sunday with only Dominic Blizzard and Clarke Carlisle definitely ruled out.

Wycombe born Blizzard has not figured since contracting a serious viral complaint last September, while former Leeds United man Carlisle, struggling to overcome a hip injury, is a confirmed non starter as part of the terms of his eve of season transfer that brought him south to Vicarage Road.

There are no such clauses in Matthew Spring's contract however, and the midfielder who also arrived from the Elland Road club earlier this season is expected to be in the starting line-up.

Hameur Bouazza is also looking for a place in the squad after returning to training following a broken metatarsal.

Leeds United meanwhile must make do without suspended duo Stephen Crainey and Richard Cresswell, after both players received red cards during the Whites semi-final second leg play-off victory against Preston North End.

The one major injury doubt still concerns Captain Paul Butler, who continues to struggle with a calf problem that has kept him sidelined since the end of the regular season.
