Lewington: We didn't give up

Although Watford slipped to their fourth defeat in six games and dropped down to eighth in the First Division table, Lewington spoke only of the positives after the game at Pride Park.

"I was quite pleased with the first half. We got quite a few crosses in and I thought that some of our play was very good although maybe we were guilty of over elaborating a bit," he said.

"But for the last 15 minutes we lost our heads. We didn't give up, but in the end Derby found it fairly comfortable."
