Premier League Agree To Postponement
Last updated : 12 October 2006 By Gary Holmes
The FA Premier League has agreed to a request from both Watford and Blackburn Rovers that their Barclays Premiership fixture due to take place at Vicarage Road on Saturday 25 November 2006 be postponed.
Blackburn Rovers originally sought permission from the Premier League to move the game back 24 hours due to their continuing UEFA Cup commitments.
However, with Watford entertaining Sheffield United on the following Tuesday the Hertfordshire outfit were unwilling to accede to the request, and the Premier League has now decided that the match will have to be rescheduled for later in the season.
No new date for the fixture has as yet been confirmed!
