The new Reading boss, speaking ahead of the eagerly awaited clash, said

"I was only there for a short period of time but I feel proud of what we did together as a club during a difficult time.

"I know I am going to get a bit of stick for leaving after seven or eight months but I have nothing but good feelings for Watford.

"I took over when the club was broken and disconnected and as a club we fought to avoid relegation and I am proud of how we did that.

"No matter what people say or do it will never taint my time there because I have great respect for everyone there and really enjoyed my time there.

"Watford were certainly fantastic for me and I hope I gave them something back."

Reading haven't won at home in the League since January 27th. Let's keep it that way.
