Watford predicted lineup vs Manchester City - Premier League

Watford's desperate and increasingly unlikely fight for survival doesn't get much easier this weekend, as they travel to Manchester City on Saturday.

Roy Hodgson has seen his men lose eight of their previous 11 Premier League fixtures, with recent defeats to Liverpool, Leeds and Brentford leaving the Hornets seven points adrift of safety having played a game more than Everton in 17th.

Facing a Manchester City side vying for the title, here's how Hodgson could line his side up.

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Ben Foster (GK) - Set for a 13th consecutive Premier League start in which he can be expected to be tested quite a few times.

Kiko Femenia (RB) - Has started ten of the 12 games Hodgson has taken charge of, and will likely continue here.

Christian Kabasele (CB) - A couple of defensive injuries have seen the Belgian start the previous five league outings for Watford.

Samir (CB) - Dealt with Brentford's menacing forward line to decent effect last time out after a woeful showing against Leeds, and has earned another appearance for this one.

Hassane Kamara (LB) - Hasn't been too bad at all - although hasn't been brilliant - since his mid-season arrival.

2. Midfielders

Moussa Sissoko (CM) - Will likely skipper the side again in what will inevitably be an energetic performance - a bit of quality on the ball wouldn't go amiss, though.

Imran Louza (CM) - The 22-year-old has been a stalwart for the majority of Hodgson's unfortunate reign and should be set for a tenth successive start.

Tom Cleverley (CM) -
Hodgson has opted to keep his midfield the same for the previous four outings but, after three straight defeats, Cleverley could return in place of Juraj Kucka.

3. Forwards

Ismaila Sarr (RW) - Hasn't scored since returning from either of his injuries this term but should continue after registering an assist last time out.

Josh King (ST) - Joao Pedro, who has failed to score in nine appearances, could be dropped to the bench with King returning to the side.

Emmanuel Dennis (LW) - Ended a near-two-month goal drought with his tenth Premier League strike of the campaign last time out.
