Watford travel to East London in good heart, following their victory over Blackburn Rovers in midweek and boosted by the arrival of former Sheffield United striker, Steve Kabba.

Kabba, 25, joined the Vicarage Road outfit for £500, 000 on Friday and is eligible to play, but other new recruits, Will Hoskins and Lee Williamson must sit out after playing for previous club, Rotherham United in an earlier round.

Golden Boys captain, Gavin Mahon is set to return after missing the win on Tuesday with a calf strain, but Dan Shittu who limped off during the game with an ankle problem is rated as no better than 50/50.

James Chambers is still struggling with a knee problem and joins long term absentees, Marlon King and Clarke Carlisle on the injured list.

West Ham United manager, Alan Curbishley has a number of injury concerns including Anton Ferdinand who is rated as doubtful.

Definitely ruled out are Danny Gabbidon (ankle), James Collins (groin), Carlos Tevas (calf), Lee Bowyer (dislocated shoulder), while Marlon Harewood is suspended.

Callum Davenport is cup-tied but other recent newcomers to Upton Park, Lucas Neill, Nigel Quashie and Luis Boa Morte are all available for selection.
