There has been many rumours flying around about the whereabouts of Bangura, who at the age of 16 went into hiding from the police after he and his team escaped from the the Under-17 World Championship in Finland in 2003 seeking political asylum.
It was during the Finland tournament that the player, who can play anywhere in defence was first spotted, and duly signed up by the football agency Wright Wright Wright, who made his dream move to England a reality the following year.
However, here at the Golden Boys we can reveal that the real reason for the player not finalising his move to the club is the issue of a work permit, which after all this time has still not come through.
